Published on 12th January 2012.

Mr Tom McMahonOn December 8th, a container loaded with 50 carefully refurbished computers and many boxes of books and other teaching aids landed at Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The consignment is the work of Mr Tom McMahon who has been collecting and preparing these materials for over four years.

The Haitian Oblates have just begun distributing this consignment of computers, books, teaching aids and other materials to a number of their schools and other projects. Most of the country's schools struggle to acquire basic IT equipment, books, etc, so they are  immensely grateful to Tom for such a valuable gift.
